
LAUNCH OF 400 MILLION NAIRA GRANT DISBURSEMENT FOR 800 BENEFICIARIES OF EAP
Ibom-LED has hosted another significant event, the launch of a 400 million naira grant disbursement for 800 beneficiaries of the Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme (EAP).
The event began with opening remarks from Pastor Imo-Abasi Jacob, who is Ibom-LED’s team lead.
There was a short clip presentation of the Entrepreneurship Assistance Programme (EAP), demonstrating the impactful initiatives undertaken by Ibom-LED to empower aspiring entrepreneurs.
Mrs. Nnena Ugwu delivered a compelling Keynote Address, emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and development.
Mr. Daniel Esetang, representing the beneficiaries as the Alumni President of EAP1 Batch 1, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the opportunity provided by Ibom-LED, reflecting on the transformative impact of the programme on their lives.
Goodwill messages were delivered by esteemed personalities including Ms. Lucy Ekpeyong, a member of the Ibom-LED faculty, Chief Assam Assam (SAN), and Mrs. Imaobong Etuk, the Managing Director of Ibom Fadama, further underscoring the collaborative efforts towards entrepreneurial development in the region.
Mrs. Ekaette Umoh, SSA/General Manager of Ibom-LED, extended a vote of thanks to the Governor acknowledging his support and also to the team for their collective efforts.
The highlight of the day was the remarks by His Excellency, Governor Umoh Eno, who reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the ARISE agenda and flagged off the grant disbursement exercise. His Excellency’s presence underscored the significance of the occasion and his unwavering support for entrepreneurship development.
